First time at the Sunrise Resort and had an amazing time. The staff (Scott, Reed, and Curtis) went well out of their way to make sure we had the best possible experience at the resort and I cannot thank them enough. Whether it was helping out with boat problems or teaching us valuable fishing tips, the staff was always happy to help. I highly recommend the fishing guide service offered through the resort. My guide was Scott, and he definitely knows what he is talking about! After struggling for the first day on the lake, I booked the guide service with Scott and the boat was able to bring in 5 beautiful smallmouth bass within only a few hours. The knowledge taught by Scott on the guide service proved extremely beneficial to my fishing success this week and it was well worth it. Again, I want to thank the wonderful staff members for making this a great trip. I cannot wait to book my next trip to the Sunrise!
Scott and his staff were absolutely fantastic. The resort itself is beautiful and the cabins had everything you need for a week on the lake. What really separates Sunrise from any other resort was the staff. Every member of the Sunrise staff was willing to go out of their way to help us during our stay with whatever we needed. As a first time boat owner, they were all ready and willing to help me with any issues I had with my boat or just give me friendly tips to make boat ownership easier. Curtis, Reed, and Scott made sure we were taken care of and helped make our trip a memorable one. If you plan to fish the lake, I would definitely recommend hiring one of them for a guide trip. The lake has world class smallmouth but they can be very tricky to catch! Scott and his staff know where they are and what they like to bite!
This resort was absolutely amazing. Hands down one of the friendliest people to deal with. They were very professional, Such a nice cozy place to escape to in the North Woods. 10/10, A+++, 5 Stars!! I can't thank Scott enough, Sunrise Resort's cabins have all the amenities to keep you feeling at home away from home and more! Plenty of trails & fishing, hiking, & wild nature all around the area. Presque Isle is now one of my favorite areas in Wisconsin. I highly recommend these cabins on the water if you're planning a trip to Northern Wisconsin for any reason.
We love the Sunrise Resort! Scott and his staff are top notch great people! Reed made sure we had everything we needed. We have stayed in one of their cottages before with family and had a great time! This time we stayed in one of their new Airstreams and loved it!! Perfect for the two of us! Comfortable with all the amenities! Peaceful! Presque Isle Lake is great for Kayaking, paddle boarding, boating or hanging out on the shore for a beautiful view, especially at Sunrise! We plan to be back many times!!
Reed took us out fishing for 2 days, caught my first Musky! He was a great guide and a great guy! Rooms were well kept, staff was friendly! Would definately recommend!
Sunrise resort was such an amazing getaway! The cabins were very cozy and clean. The resort itself if very maintained. Scott was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. He was super friendly and caring. We will definitely be staying here again!
Had a terrific time staying at Sunrise Resort on Presque Isle Lake this past weekend! The resort itself is phenomenal for a north woods get away. Scott and Reed went out of their way to help us out, anything we needed or had questions about they were always there! Coolest part I’ve not seen elsewhere was the shared recreational area that had an indoor lounge to hang out where the side doors opened all the way while grilling or having a bonfire right outside of it. I recommend for a fishing trip, outdoor getaway or family vacation - can’t wait to go back! Cabins- 10/10 Staff- 10/10 Location-10/10 beautiful part of Wisconsin- easy to get to, located not far from restaurants/gas station/ bait shops/ other lakes etc.
I have spent my entire life vacationing in northern Wisconsin, we have stayed at a variety of resorts. When we found Sunrise shores we were incredibly impressed with how clean and manicured everything was. From the road to all of the lawns everything was Immaculate and in Its place. The lake and shoreline in so enjoyable and peaceful. The staff was also a great help when you need something.
